The Strengthening and widening of the existing 76 kms 2-lane Sardar Patel Ring Road to 4-lanes was the main objective of the project.

It was awarded to Sadbhav (80%) and Patel Infrastructure (20%) in a consortium by Ahmedabad Urban Development Authorith. Sadbhav is the EPC contractor on a fixed price and fixed time basis. The total project cost is Rs.51,262 Lacs.

The project involves the widening to 4-lane of the 99.5 kms long 2-lane segment and the construction of 7.53 kms long Kasara Ghat bypass segment of the Vadape-Gonde section of NH-3. The project has been awarded to GIPL (75%) - Sadbhav (20%) - BE Billimoria & Company (5%) consortium by NHAI. Sadbhav is sub-contractor for most of the work (work value of approx. Rs. 5 billion). The total project cost is estimated to be Rs. 65,000 Lacs.
