The scope of work largely encompasses constructing, widening and strengthening of roads and highways. Currently, around 85% of the
Company's revenue comes from this sector and our current bid capacity is Rs. 6816.9 million for NHAI projects. Sadbhav intends to actively pursue opportunities in the BOT space. It currently has three BOT (toll) projects and one BOT (annuity) project underway. We are also executing a significant portion of the EPC contracts in these projects. Currently around 45% of the order book is for contracts from these BOT projects. |
Sadbhav commenced mining operations in 1990 by
executing rock excavation of copper at Madhya Pradesh for L&T Limited. This was followed by
several other projects which largely involved work for GIPCL. We execute projects involving excavation of overburden and lignite. At present, our operations are largely concentrated in the mines located in Gujarat. We have won a 10 year mining operation contract from GHCL worth Rs. 305 crores. We are also one of the lowest bidders for the removal of overburden for Bina Extension OCP of Northern Coalfield Limited for estimated contract value of Rs. 246.73 crores. In the near future, Sadbhav intends to acquire mines in
order to increase margins. |
